Diversity:Looking forward for the best solution.

6 th Dec 2007,

Today,I was having a group discussion for my MCR(Managing Corporate Resources) subject presentation. In my group,we are consisted of 5 people from different countries. It does remember my time back then in England when I was an International Student back then in the country when I did my undergraduate studies. We were discussing on Desicion Making Subject.Good things I learned today, our when a group of people from different background of culture, education and origin works togather to solve a problem,I found that the Idea on solving the problem cames from so many point of ways. This is good because we can use the leverage of Ideas to solve our problem. We will do our best and InsyaAllah we'll do our best.

Dare to Dream..from dream comes great things

Once upon a time, there were a group of Malay students in Newcastle upon Tyne. They never know and experienced and what was ski-ing sports alike. They discussed, plan and go.The first day, they attended the ski-ing class. For the Asian,it is hardly to find this kind of sport especially for in South East Asia country. All they did, they made the research, find the right time, made the cost estimation and finally they managed to challenged themselves to try something new. They challenged themselves to climb approx.4000m slopes in La Clusaz,France and go.This kind of experience never been published in Newspaper across the country because they were reluctive people and believe in being private. The moralle of the story,we will never know how high we could go until we challenge ourselves to do so.Allah is always with us.Alhamdulliah because the author was part of the team who discovered the place. The author remember, when they asked where we from, they never heard about Malaysia. The place is located next to Mount Alps. How great is God creation.Alhamdulillah.

Malaysia:In the eye of the world.

1st May 1958

On the East Coast of Malaya,Malays have been engaged in business for quite a long time and it is more urgent now than ever before that these Malays should learn"know-how" of modern business,if they were to sucessfully compete with the others in the economic life of the country. There is where American capital with its modern outlook, which enables investors, labour and the country to benefit can play a useful role in helping the Malays.Furthermore,as (Rockefeller) himself had mentioned,British investment in Malaya is not meeting much competition and as a result has the monopoly in the Federation. For the sake of private enterprise, which really thrives on competition, and for the sake of British investment itself,it is necessary to introduce American capital in order to stimulate competition.Mr Rockefeller agreed with my contention.

It was a statement of one our founding father of Malaysia,The late Tun Dr Ismail in 1958 when he was a Government representative in the United States.I came across to jot down about this particular issue for the sake of a young Malaysian. We are the youth who inherit the nation prosperity, integrity and vision 2020.For those who understand history, politics and business, they should know who Rockefeller was.He should know who Tun Dr Ismail was. They were the men who preach their words and fast desicion maker during their time. The late Rockefeller was one of the richest man in the world during his time. What I am trying to share here,If you believe that you can do,just do it.After 50 years of independent,I know some of Malay that stil have no confidence in their idea.I am not trying to be a philanotropist, but I feel that a responsibility to share my words. In reality, the NEP has developed our nation but we need to look forward. As a man who believe in human capital development, now is the time when young Malaysian should develop their labour of love.As a man who is originally from East Coast of Penisular Malaysia,I am confident with what I am doing now for the sake of greater future ahead.Allah is always with us.Worship Allah and believe in Muhammad(S.A.W).

A Long Way: I did it my way

Last night, before I am off to bed,I played my oldschool records. It was My Way by The Great Frankie.I played the song for couple of time.In some circumstances, the song relatively coincident with my life .It 's good to look back couple of step, learn from what happened and the most important things is to see the way ahead.I believe that we are honest and have principles in life,we will make a good living in this world and hereafter.I remember a good old friend told me "Muz,masa muda foya-foya,bila tua kaya-raya,bila mati masuk syurga"...Ameen...But in life, there are a lot of unexpected occasions.Sometime we have to get prepared to face uncertainty. However, when we deal with unexpected event, always remember that it just an event.Time goes by and never wait for us.Time is so precious. If we used to be frozen in time in the past, its good to do revolving method,re-engineering our current life and future plan and makes thing happen.Believing in labour of love is a key factor to success.Friendship first, competition 2nd!

Forward Thinking:What is tomorrow alike.

Today,I enjoyed lazy Sunday with my good old boys.It was a good lazy evening hang out. When I was younger, especially during my engineering students years back then in England,We had car boot sale hunting and lazy Sunday Pub.But then, back home in my country lazy Sunday is more attractive. We went for coffees at KLCC and later went to BB walks for dine and listening to the open air live band.I start to value and appreciate all the nice things that we see everyday.Looking back for a few step is good especially when we want to keep ourself on track.I remember,my dad's best friend,a religion scholar,Datuk Hj Ahmad Shahir B Hj Daud( Ex-Chief Imam of National Mosque) always remind me about the beauty of life.He said"whatever state of our life, whether we are in good times and bad times, remember Allah Al-mighty!"Looking back to what has happened in the past is good to make sure we are on the right track. For me,life is not about making Quids 24/7.They are many aspects of life that we need to balance.Balancing is important.I hv been in my career since last 7 months. In fact,It is a challenging task.Speed is important. But never get caught speeding! When we talk about career.Different people does different job to make a living. There are rich society and poor society. To makes things balance, education does help for those who knows to make use and practise their knowledge. What ever we do we need to be patient and persistance.I appreciate ethical values and high degree of morality when it comes into dealing with my works.Good friends we have, good friends we lost a long the way.Yeah probably the late Bob was right. What he was trying to say always be positive when we look forward. When we talk about wealth, for me 4 important elements are spiritual, physical, mental and emotional. That is true wealth.I am not using this blog to make myself as a well known philanotherapist, but I am just sharing my mind.In this life, there are people who likes us and probably dislike us.It just the prove of balancing. When people dislike us,just take it easy.Take it as check and balance. And then look forward. We are going to forsee the future. It is good to be a listener.Probably that is the reason why we have 2 ears and 1 mouth. To make tomorrow a better day, then we have to plan today. It is tomorrow when we are going to be more matured and experiences. We are going to have a nice future undertakings.Welcome tomorrow......Where dream comes reality.

Lazy Sunday...Good Old time

When I was a student at Newcastle, one of the most entertaining day was Sunday.I did rejoice the lazy Sunday. There was a pub near Jesmond which played chilled musics. It was so cool indeed.Lazy Sunday in Ampang is different. So many things I could do over here. From having coffee with good friends and meeting my customers.Student time is always the best time especially when we stil learning what is the means of QUID!Now is the age of earning Quids. It a challenging life but I enjoy what I am doing now.Building up my company from scratch and doing MBA at IIUM.Good things about IIUM's MBA,I learned what is halal and haram. How wonderful Islam is.For those who are interested to study MBA in Malaysia,I would strongly recemended this place. It is because of the quality that is provided by the university. It is an Islamic University. In this world, there are few good Islamic University. One of them is located in Malaysia.
